The EMBO Scientific Exchange Grants finances international research visits in the context of molecular biology purposes at large, between laboratories in partnered countries. These grants are intended for joint research work, preferably to establish new scientific relationships.

As a result of the Protocol signed between Dom Manuel II Foundation (Portugal), represented by H.R.H. the Duke of Bragança, and the University of Minho and Municipality of Guimarães, it is announced the call for the attribution of the Award “Príncipe da Beira” Biomedical Sciences (3rd edition, year 2018/2019).
