Her research focuses on orthopaedic/musculoskeletal tissue engineering and regenerative medicine strategies.
These strategies aim to promote tissue regeneration and include studies on (stem) cell biology of tissues in homeostatic and pathological conditions, modulation of inflammation mechanisms, and the resource to magnetic actuated technologies as non-invasive platforms to remotely instruct cells.
