This small scale co-rotating twin screw extruder is a preferred tool for compounding polymeric blends and composites at a laboratory scale. It can be also used for materials processing using different dies. The features of the equipment are: barrel length – 25D (400 mm), screw diameter -16 mm, maximum speed 500 rpm; maximum temperature – 400ºC. This extruder has also the capability of using supercritical fluids during materials compound/processing.
