Standard UV-VIS photospectrometry equipment, for light absorption and transmission spectra of solids, solutions and gases (vapour). Can be used to determine concentration of molecules and ratios of some chemical species (e.g. to determine labelling ratio of fluorescence probes on proteins or degree of deacetylation of chitosan).
