Abstract

This Special Issue focus on the most recent tissue engineering strategies involving drug
delivery systems for biomedical applications. For that, significant contributions addressing
the above mentioned concepts were collected. This multidisciplinary topic resulted in the
publication of nine original papers and two review papers, and are briefly summarized.
