Abstract

The development of new and improved Bone Tissue Engineering strategies is highly dependent on the evolution of biomaterials field. Moreover, bone grafts still constitute
the most commonly used approach for large bone defects nowadays. Taking this into consideration, new biomaterials or biomaterials combinations are needed. To meet
these needs, the development of a multiparametric high-throughput screening platform envisioning the definition of the ultimate biomaterial, cellular and culture conditions
has been previously developed by us. Here, we propose the screening of the influence of marine-origin materials and its blends with gellan gum (GG) in the osteogenic
differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells (hASCs)
